Our program is not a daycare or babysitting service!  We are a martial arts school!

Our after-school program is first and foremost about quality martial arts instruction, health, and physical fitness.  Children participating in this program will practice martial arts daily.

This program has been designed to assist parents with the tough job of giving their children the tools and skills needed to overcome their daily obstacles...whether it is getting bullied at school (verbally or physically), a lack of focus on schoolwork, discipline issues, or a need for more confidence.

SideKick Karate's After School Program will help your child become a confident leader!

When you pick your child up from our facility, their snack, homework, and karate classes are FINISHED!  You can focus on quality time with your family.

Children are picked up daily at their school in an easily identified (federally approved) SideKick Karate Bus and transported to our facility.  Snacks will be served upon arrival at SideKick Karate Dojo.  There will be a dedicated time for the completion of their homework with assistance.  Each child will participate in a daily confidence-building martial art class with emphasis on Respect, Discipline, and Focus.  If homework and karate are completed, there will be downtime with games, reading, or electronic devices (depending on the parent's preference).  Parents pick up their children upon completion of their own workday.  (No later than 6:15 p.m. unless other arrangements are made).

Within weeks the improvements in your child will become obvious.  They will have the confidence to say NO to peer pressure.  They will become more focused on schoolwork and begin to feel better about themselves.

Our professional staff of black belts and event directors (certified in CPR/first aid) will provide leadership and assist with your child's development.  All staff members must pass a background check and are subject to random drug testing.  

Head instructor Ricky Smith is a 9th degree black belt with over 45 years of teaching experience.

Registration Fee:

$40 (Includes karate uniform)

Weekly Dues: (5 days a week)

$99 for the first child/ $89 for each additional child
